Consular Birth Registration

Consular birth registration is not compulsory and will not change your child's claim to citizenship.  If you would like a UK style birth certificate, we can help you submit an online application and advise you what supporting documents the Foreign and Commonwealth Office require from you.

The birth will be recorded at the General Register Office or at the National Records Office of Scotland.

Consular Death Registration

Consular Death Registration is not compulsory.  If you want to register a death and apply for a UK style death certificate, we can help you submit an online application and advise you what supporting documents the Foreign and Commonwealth Office require from you.
