Emergency Passports

 

You can apply for an Emergency Passport, normally known as an Emergency Travel Document, if you’re a British national and your passport has been lost, stolen, damaged or has recently expired and you need to travel urgently.   We can help you complete the ETD application form and book an appointment for you to visit the British Consulate-General Hong Kong.  We will advise you what documents you will need to take with you.

 

What is an Emergency Travel Document?

 

An emergency travel document consists of 8 pages and it allows you to travel to your destination via a maximum of 5 countries.

 

The emergency travel document can also cover a return journey if you’re resident in the country you’re applying from.

 

Please note that not all countries accept Emergency Travel Documents.  You must check with that country's consulate for entry requirements.
